2017年8月23日 · K-MOOC, launched in 2015 is the official MOOC platform of the Republic of Korea (RoK). Class Central conducted an email interview with Dr. Heon Joo Suh to learn more about K-MOOC. He is a Director at K-MOOC planning office.

K-MOOC, a MOOC website designed to fit the educational needs of Koreans, was launched in 2015 to facilitate the “innovation of university education through an open higher education system.” Since then, Korea University has been participating and offering online courses through the K-MOOC website.

무크 (MOOC)란 Massive, Open, Online, Course의 줄임말로 오픈형 온라인 학 습 과정을 말하며, 국가평생교육진흥원에서 운영하는 한국형 온라인 공개강좌 (K-MOOC) 사업을 통해 본교에서 제공 중인 양질의 강의를 MOOC 강좌로 개 발하고 K-MOOC 사이트의 공개함으로써 대한민국 국민들에게 평생교육의 장 을 제공하고자 함.

K-MOOC(Korean Massive Open Online Course, 케이무크, 한국형 온라인 공개강좌)는 국가평생교육진흥원에서 진행하는 한국형 MOOC로서 대학의 강좌를 언제나, 어디서나, 누구나, 무료로 수강할 수 있는 서비스이다. 여러 대학의 협력 속에 고등교육을 담당한다.

광운mooc센터는 ‘세상과 넓고 깊게 소통하는 평생학습인 양성을 위한 광운mooc’ 라는 목표 아래 우리 대학의 우수한 강의를 학습자에게 무료 수강의 기회를 제공하고, k-mooc활성화를 위해 mooc 운영을 지원하고 있습니다.

2025年1月27日 · K-MOOC, which began operation in 2015, is a Korean-style online open course operated by the National Institute for Lifelong Education. As of December 31, 2024, more than 175 universities are participating, and more than 5,318 courses have ended, are in progress, or are scheduled to begin.
