Supposedly these have JBL 001 system - A JBL 130A 15" Alnico Woofer, JBL 175DLH Alnico Compression Driver with the n1200 crossover. 2025年2月20日 · I came across a single C40 for sale, that I am considering offering my restored AR3s as a straight trade, or a really cool pair of late 50s RJ enclosures with University drivers + a little cash. The cabinet and grill look to be in very good condition, and it has the original legs.

A floor-type speaker system that employs a rear-loading horn. The C40 was designed as a horizontal model of the C34 and adopts a rear loading horn (back load horn) system. We also had left - and right-side enclosures for more faithful stereo playback.

The C40's introduction and production run coincided with and crossed over the MONO to STEREO era. By the time STEREO was the firmly established form, the C40 was no longer a favorite in large format box style for domestic use (big ass low boys)

2009年2月3日 · Thanks to the help of a couple Akers (Elgato8905, Zilch, & Bauhausler) in identifying some speakers I was able to score a very nice set of vintage JBL C40 Harkness folded horn speakers. I was originally attracted to them for the style of the cabinets, as I have the whole Danish Modern thing going on in the house.

For your kind consideration is this fantastic sounding vintage JBL Harkness C40 Lowboy single cab with original JBL 15”, driver, tweeter, and crossover. Tested and sounds incredible. The legs were missing when we got it, but can be found on EBay.
