Does anyone actually have the recipe for ice cream soup?
You take your ice cream of choice and then stir it steadily, first slowly, then faster, for several minutes until it reaches a creamy milkshake-like consistency. You don't just leave it sitting out to melt. That's not ice cream soup, it's just melted ice cream.

2021年5月14日 · The only times I prefer cold ice cream is when it's in a cone or it's a fruity ice cream. I really don't like warm fruits outside of fresh baked pies. I usually do the 5-10 second thing to soften it up if it's fruity.

2023年10月4日 · It’s ice CREAM not ice cream soup. If I wanted to drink ice cream soup I would just put the container out of the freezer and let it melt and then eat it with a spoon. Now I don’t exclusively use forks just whatever is available. If I ever do use a spoon I don’t scoop up anything that has melted.

2022年12月4日 · Put a bowl in the freezer at least an hour before you have ice cream. The ice cream won't melt as fast, espcially on hot days. Works best with ceramic or metal, plastic bowls don't get as cold but they also don't melt the ice cream as fast. So if you have time: Freeze a ceramic bowl. If you don't have time: use a plastic bowl.

My boyfriend, while eating a lunch dessert with him, mixed his ice cream into a melted, sticky, consistency and I was beyond speechless. I like there to be a little island of melted ice cream around a very small mount of slightly frozen ice cream in the centre. Is it possible to make a decent batch of vanilla ice cream with these items (of course, along with egg yokes, sugar, salt and vanilla extract) Just wondering if the powdered ingredients would work.
