2007年1月8日 · Clements then gives 2 Hoary/Arctic Redpoll subspecies: C. h. hornemanni - Sibley's "Greenland/Hornemann's"; and C. h. exilipes, or "Southern". Now as for your bird, Sibley has a good illustration of Redpoll tails that strengthen my belief that it is, in fact, a young or female "Southern" (nominate flammea) Common Redpoll.

2004年1月29日 · The Greenland race of Hoary Redpoll, called Hornemann's Redpoll I think, is paler than nominate (southern) race Hoary, but should be at least 10% larger than a Hoary. The female is the whitest of them all, so guess that could be your bird if its bigger than the others?
