The Near High-End Nomu were primarily used as a distraction that kept majority of the Pro Heroes busy from taking part in the battle against Tomura. Around half of the Near High-Ends were killed by the Heroes, while the Nomu took out half of the Heroes.

Hood (フード Fūdo?), [1] also known simply as High-End (ハイエンド Hai Endo?), [2] was one of Doctor Kyudai Garaki 's twelve intelligent High-End Nomu and the main antagonist of the Pro Hero Arc. [2] Hood resembled other Nomu but with a large, muscular build and a comparatively long neck, which has several large vertebrae jutting out of it.

Woman (ウーマン Ūman?), [2] was one of Doctor Kyudai Garaki 's intelligent High-End Nomu that he kept in his lab under Jaku General Hospital. She and her kin act as some of the secondary antagonists of the Paranormal Liberation War Arc.
