Good news everyone! The “Coming Soon” sign is up at Mayfair Mall for the new H Mart and they also appear to be doing work on the exterior (unsure if related). If anyone has an idea of when they will open, I’d like to hear it. They are already one quarter behind the promised launch. My guess would be late fall 24 to early 25.

This is great news. I was about to take a major hit in Bonus Points this year with my landlord after explaining what H Mart is and talking it up for the full recommended fifteen minutes. He owns a house in that area. There was no getting away from it.

2024年5月27日 · H Mart did claim that they are opening a new H Mart location in Sacramento area on mackroad since June 2023. The representative from H Mart told Fox40 news that they did hired people to renovate the building after getting a permit so when the tenant moved in, they'll see an improved good oxygen environment.

2022年9月28日 · As the other poster said, H-Mart is notoriously slow to open announced stores. That Irvine store has been a year + in the making. I wouldn't expect the Beach Blvd. location to open until late 2023 sadly.

H-Mart, like Costco, buys existing buildings so they don’t have to do too much renovations. Since this is an only KMart building they need to repaint, add more refrigerators and freezers, and put up the sign.
