The CEAFAR Ground Based Multi-Mission Radar (GBMMR) is a mobile active phased array radar system that provides 3D air and ground surveillance in a range of environments. The CEAFAR GBMMR leverages existing technology to provide an active phased array surveillance and Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) capability for land-based operations.

A land-based variant of CEAFAR, named Ground Based Multi-Mission Radar (GBMMR), uses six enlarged fixed-face AESA arrays mounted on a heavy truck. It was shown to operate with IRIS-T SL medium-range ground-based air defense system during its test launches in 2014. [12]
