2021年12月26日 · they ain't junk,,, but. i was surprised they hit anything with the smaller 303 ammo. the 8mm generally has a bore size of about 314 and a groove of 323, nuthin there for a 311 diameter bullet to grip, and .003 is quite a ways for a bullet to swell up to just touch the rifling.

These were the most popular smooth bores in Canada 1630-1680. It is a 20 Ga smooth bore. That was large for a trade gun. The preference was a .540 bore.
