2018年8月12日 · One of my closest friends is an ESTJ. I can see how an INTP x ESTJ relationship could work, although I know I annoy the hell out of her for being so disorganised. INTP's are better at that than ENTP's though, aren't they? But both types are pretty good at observing the world unemotionally, so it could make for some interesting conversations.

(Te for the ESTJ, Ti for the INTP) In theory, without a strong F from either side, they should be able to communicate without easily offending the other. I was under the assumption that it is usually unfavored for a 'Sensing' and an "Intuitive" to be a couple in a relationship as communication is usually different. How is that this is one of the few exceptions...

And while this forum as a whole tends to give ESTJs a hard time, my mom's pretty benevolent, albeit firm and used to have a hard time understanding how I work. She's getting much better now.

2012年10月8日 · The mature ESTJ will tolerate some of our nonsense as long as we are seen as (1) Competent and (2) Merely whimsical and non-threatening. The first requirement leans strongly on follow-through and is a growth area for the INTP. The latter depends upon not taking things *too* seriously, which is a growth area for the ESTJ.

It also throws into account the planets, which in astrology talks about energy and purpose: Sun = Ego; Moon = Emotions; Mercury = Communication; Mars =Drive/Ambition; Jupiter = Personal Growth; etc: which are all in different signs, most of mine being in Pisces.

2010年12月16日 · Maybe a bit domineering with youths, but ESTJ are incredibly loyal and tend to have strong family values - this could work for the INTP who tends to make like an ostrich or tortoise in some circs when they need someone to stand up for them. You do need to remember they need a reason for everything.
