If we search the B8 Q5 wiring diagrams (and component locations) document on cardiagn.com, we come to a picture on page "1304", where it seems to show it on the underside of the car, I'm guessing that's on the DEF tank next to the DEF pump?

2016年1月7日 · Incidentally, the original G505 sensor I removed was exactly the same part number as the new one received by the dealer. The original G450 sensor in my car was 03G-906-051G, and per the web known to be faulty. The sensor has been replaced and adapted and will provide feedback if the problem has been resolved.

2024年10月24日 · Recently noticed that my DPF soot volume sensor (G505) has no electrical connection, yet there is a female plug on the part. I’ve checked thoroughly for a stray wire and connector but nothing found. The sensor is bolted to the exhaust gas pressure sensor (G450) which does have power to it.

2023年10月21日 · Got the below VCDS error (bottom of post) relating to the DPF (diesel particulate filter) sensor G505 on a 60 plate Audi A1, 1.6tdi (CAYC) 105hp, so have ordered a replacement sensor. However I'm struggling to find it!

2018年8月29日 · Get to the hoses for the G450 and G505 pressure sensors on top of the engine, the ones on a bracket under a little space blanket. Carefully remove the little hoses that go to them, and with compressed air, blow back down the tubes, to make sure they are clear.

2015年1月9日 · Also there is a 2 sensors and they are same, pressure differential sender -G505, and Exhaust Pressure Sensor (G450) , I have seen lot of times that G505 has been replace instead G450. Like was mention above post auto scan so we can help you more on this.

2014年10月20日 · To make matters worse Audi has the G450 identified as G451 and the G451 as G505 so with all of this you can imagine the confusion on many forums. I verified which was which by disconnecting the electrical connector of each of them and running one at a time after clearing the faults and noting the resulting fault(s).
