2017年1月24日 · 3D1X2 does networking (routers/switches). However, 3D1s also can do much more. You can end up on RPAs (working on the GCS, its flightline lite). Used to work on AWACS (i think they transitioned a couple years ago). Can work on tech control stuff and phone switches (combat com/ACS). Can work on operator boxes (ACS).

3D1X2 can go to any air force base with a Comm squadron, which is pretty much all of them. They don't go to too many bases belonging to other services, unless that base has an air force detachment. Reply reply

2022年5月5日 · When I went through 3D1X2 training in 2018 from the people that I started the schoolhouse with only 1 of the ~ 40% of people that failed out wasn't from Sec+. At that time in our schoolhouse the preparation for it was mediocre at best, and if you actually wanted to learn the material for other reasons than passing the test you aren't doing that ...

2023年4月22日 · I'm curious to see if the 1D7X1A AFSC has the same CCAF degree, after the converting of 3d AFSCs into 1D7X1's. It looks like 3d1x2 (cyber transport) is now known as 1D6X1A (network operations). Is the CCAF for 1D7X1A, Electronics and Telecommunications, Electronic Systems Technology, or is it a new name?

2020年6月9日 · So you won’t be likely be out on the flight line launching aircraft. There are a few niche squadrons and parts of our job that maintain communication systems for RPAs where you will essentially work on the flight line or even the aircraft without being a maintainer.

2022年2月25日 · I went in having signed a contract for 3D1X2, so i could not give you the answers you want. But from what i remember from flightmates, they got called in at one point and were given a list of jobs and chose from there.
