People who menstruate deserve affordable and accessible menstrual products, untaxed and available in public places like schools, shelters and prisons. Our youth-powered movement advocates for systemic change through policy to end period poverty in our lifetime.

Health equity includes better social support, education, good sanitation and hygiene services, and access to period products. While many menstrual justice organizations focus on girls and women in their messaging, trans men and non-binary people who menstruate need health equity, too.

Helping Women Period is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, committed to supplying no cost menstrual health products to people that menstruate who are either homeless or low-income. With your donation, we can buy in bulk.

Period Poverty means that 1 in 3 individuals miss work, school, and outings because of a lack of period supplies. We are working to end period poverty.
