2022年6月8日 · If one compares hd600, hd6xx, hd650, hd660s, hd560s and r70x, r70x is best in overall tonality, comfort , smoothness. r70x has angled drivers, helping in imaging further. Only gripe can be the circular opening of pads which can be a problem for some with bigger ear lobes. To me it is end game with mojo 2 and tiny eq.

2021年1月6日 · Puh, the HD660S EQed to harman an the Clear EQed to harman don`t sound massively different in my opinion. A much bigger and immediately noticeable step up for me was the Arya. Like the 800S (as I read) it provides a much more 3-dimensional stage, and bass response ist on a differnent level.

Anyone got good software with eq values to give outstanding soundstage/imaging or anything to make headphones even better. thanks. My headphones are hd660s.

2022年6月8日 · The comparison graph suggests it will still have the same problems in the treble with the sharp 5.5kHz peak (seen when measured on GRAS) as indicated by the following 5128 measurement that shows response to be the same at 5.5kHz between the HD660s and HD660s2 (although the drop off above 5.5kHz is less severe which is a bit of an improvement):

2019年12月13日 · When you play the HD660S on 'normal' levels from a phone it will sound exactly the same as from a 10W amp at the exact same level. Turn it up to impressive levels and the higher powered amp (0.5W is already enough) and you will notice the powerfull amp sounds great and the phone looses out on several different aspects.

2020年12月25日 · Just got the FiiO Q3 (MQA Edition) for my HD660s yesterday and it sounds great. Don't know if I really notice any quality difference vs my Apple Dongle, but I like having a volume knob. On high gain, it only takes until maybe 50% to get as loud at 75% on my iPhone, so that's not too bad. On low gain, it's about the same as my Apple Dongle.

They took the superfast, very detailed modern HD700 driver, and put it into the well loved, super comfortable, recognizable housing and headband design of the tried and true HD6__ series.
