2024年10月13日 · Transfer case is much simpler than the 9 speed transmission. You simply fill it up until it starts draining from the fill plug. There is no way to check it's level except by removing the fill plug so all of this is done with the vehicle off.

2023年7月30日 · Perhaps foolishly, I replaced it with a '22 Ridge with the 9-Speed ZF transmission (long story, but every other truck I was looking at during peak covid was highway robbery, and my Honda dealer made me a semi-reasonable offer, plus I could transfer most of my accessories, i.e. tonneau cover, etc.). So now I'm hyper-sensitive about my tranny.

2024年2月20日 · In the responses, the current 9-sp got immediately attacked because of the dog clutches and the entire thread became exclusively about the current Z-9 sp and it’s shortcomings. I still think the concept is excellent. The individual gear select-ability is wonderful. The current transmission utilizing that concept is proving to be quite reliable.
