I know I should know this. At L&D yesterday they said I was 3cm, 60-70% effaced and the baby was 0 station.

The "report no later than" date is just that - don't arrive after April 15. It is the way all orders are written. A lot of times folks take leave in between permanent duty stations - the large space between your check-out date from your current duty station and your "arrive no later than" date to your next duty station accommodates that.

I was at 2 cm with my first at 33 weeks and was induced at 39w5d. I am now 2.5 cm/ 50% effaced/ -1 station-- I'm not holding my breath that I don't go before June (as much as I hope so). My Mom walked around at 5 cm for 5 weeks with one of my sisters. You just never know.
