Four-year Alabama public high school located on 100 acres in the City of Hoover, a residential area south of Birmingham, with approximately 93,000 residents. Spain Park High School opened in 2001, and the charter class graduated in May 2004.

Our students are leaders in our school and community. The Spain Park Band Department is the home of the Spain Park Symphonic Band, the premier performing ensemble within the department, Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble, Spain Park Color Guard and Winter Guard, and The Pride of the Park Marching Band.

Head Coach Will Smith has coached at Spain Park for nearly 20 years. He attended Billingsley (AL) H.S. where he was All-State in football, basketball, and baseball. Coach Smith is an alumnus of UAB where he played baseball for the Blazers.
