2012年4月26日 · the rs5 does not use the same engine as the s5. the only thing the two engines share is displacement. the general consensus is that there is no aftermarket modification, except for a supercharger that will get you real performance gains. try searching the forum. there are billions of threads on this topic.

I have a 2014 rs5, 1000 miles. There is an engine noise that I'm not sure is normal, please advise. The engine turns on with a big blast, and when the car is cold there is a nice sweet hum to the engine, fans, pumps, etc. I drive the car, acceleration and braking all sound normal.
