2019年4月20日 · Hi there, my motherboard sometimes won’t post with sticks in a2-b2. The only way to remedy is to reseat the ram. So I’ve had them sitting in a1-b1, no problems at all and everything looks fine.

If you have two RAM sticks, you should use the A2 & B2 or 2 & 4 positioning, meaning the slot which is furthest away from the CPU socket and the other that’s one position away from it. If you have three sticks, you should position the third stick between the A2 & B2 slots.

2019年1月12日 · It depends on whether the motherboard uses Daisy chaining or t-topology. On Daisy chaining it'll matter, but without more details you'll have to experiment. On t-topology it shouldn't matter. Dual channel memory should be installed in slots A2/B2, so the GRAY slots on your mobo. You'll want to put your RAM in A1/A2. edit: dont do this. a1 b1.

2022年11月1日 · The manual for that board (page 26) recommends A2+B2 for a 2 stick kit, which is the usual 2nd and 4th slots counting from the CPU socket. Technically A1+B1 should work the same but some boards will complain and show error screens if you try to run a kit like that without also having sticks in A2+B2.
