Welcome to Queens Technical High School, where we pride ourselves on excellent teaching and student success. Our seven career majors prepare college and career-ready students who are able to meet the needs of the 21st century workforce.

In 2018, the Department of Education approved a new name: Queens Technical High School. Today, Queens Tech prepares graduates who are both college and career ready, while maintaining a strong "family" atmosphere. In fact, many of our career and technical education teachers are Queens Tech graduates.

The talent show is one of the biggest events each year at Queens Tech. Acts are determined by a series of tryouts, and then those selected to perform participate in regular after-school rehearsals. Some students also participate by working on the sound, lighting, and stage crews.

Queens Technical High School is committed to the development of a safe and productive learning environment that fosters a meaningful and respectful collaboration between staff, students, families and the community, in order to achieve common goals.
