2024年2月14日 · Last Lupron shot was May 18, it was 90 day shot so by August it began "clearing" my system. By October, T was 135, by February 19, 400+ and before we went back on treatment in Apr 23, 600+. If you've done a literature search, there are some statistics that say nearly 80% of men do not recover T, yikes!

2023年11月26日 · As for me, I had my second (and last) Lupron shot in August last year (2022), I still have NOT gotten my testosterone back in range. I still have NOT gotten my muscle mass back. I have NOT been able to walk to the store for over a year. I used to walk 3 or 4 miles with NO problems. I realize my age (86) is a major reason for my slow recovery.

2023年6月19日 · I am 73 and was diagnosed last November with stage 4 prostate cancer which had metastasized to my bones from thigh to skull. The meandering pain throughout my body was unbearable. I received my first Lupron shot in early November and the pain disappeared within days. Side effects included night sweats, fatigue and insomnia (strange combination).

2019年11月24日 · I feel good and have good quality of life. Do realize that Lupron will greatly lower your testosterone.,mine is less than 10. Not sure what effects long term use of Lupron will have but the past two years no problem. I receive Lupron injection every 6 months.I am now 78 YOA. 2020年7月7日 · I had high dose Brachytherapy followed by 25 rounds of external beam therapy. I was on Lupron for 2 full years. A shot every 3 months. My last injection was January 30, 2020. I was treated at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and considered a high risk patient. I had all my labs tested every 3 months. Lupron is effective but I hated the side effects.
