The lombax dimension is a location mentioned in Tools of Destruction and Rift Apart. It is the name of the dimension that the lombaxes fled to after Percival Tachyon's Imperial Army drove them away from the galaxy, reached using the Dimensionator.

Lombaxes are a recurring species in the Ratchet & Clank series, and the species of the main protagonist, Ratchet. They are a humanoid, feline-like species of renowned engineers hailing from planet Fastoon in the Polaris Galaxy.

Rivet is a playable character in Rift Apart. She is a lombax from an alternate dimension, believed to be the dimensional counterpart of Ratchet. Rivet makes her debut in Rift Apart as a member of the Resistance force fighting against the evil Emperor Nefarious and his tyrannical empire.

If they moved on from the Lombax story, I don't think we'd get a new game. I don't think there's anywhere else to go. Once this story concludes I can see it being the end of the franchise, and so they just keep kicking the can down the road.

The Dimensional Map is a map of all dimensions in existence, created by a Lombax by the name of Mags. The Lombax Council and Ratchet's father Kaden, tasked Mags with creating the Map so that they could find the perfect dimension to hide their race within.
