Kate Gerbeau (née Sanderson) is an English television presenter and news reader, currently on British Forces News.

Kate Gerbeau (nee Sanderson) is an award-winning broadcaster and journalist. In June 2014 she launched, as main presenter, the UK’s first ever television channel about the Armed Forces and Defence aimed at both the military community and the wider public.

Kate Gerbeau spends her working hours amongst the hustle and bustle of television. An exciting and fast-paced role, Kate enjoys the excitement and adrenaline of reporting breaking news to interviewing senior military personnel and working in a busy studio environment.

Before joining Five News, Kate worked at the BBC – presenting the news bulletins in Breakfast. Gerbeau, formerly Sanderson, first joined the BBC in 1997 when she fronted the UK’s longest running childrens news programme Newsround.

Kate Gerbeau is an English television presenter and news reader, currently on "British Forces News". Gerbeau went to school in Formby and graduated from Bristol University with a Bachelor in French and German. She started her television career as a presenter on HTV West. From 1997-2001, she presented Newsround.
