Used in most balance plugs on LiPos and is the "standard" header spacing in many electronic components including PCs. The standard Futaba/JR style servo plugs are this spacing. I've seen a lot of JST connectors in use that have obviously suffered to the detriment of too much current flowing through them and the subsequent deformation of the housing. Paul.

Thanks so much for the help once again, I'm okay I have some JST connectors already (well on the battery packs) so I can see male/female okay. 2008年5月17日 · The JST connector can't be used with higher-amperage decoders. This is one reason Digitrax's DH83FX did not use it. Having a 2-amp continuous running rating puts its amperage over the limits of the JST connector. For your JST it seems 5A is a popular number, but whether that is official/measured or just a guess, who knowas.

2004年7月24日 · If your connector is hot after a flight it is a good indication that the resistance is too much for the application. My experience even the gold JST BEC connectors are too high resistance at 8 amps constant. I don't think there is enough surface area in contact. 2010年6月14日 · If you look at the housing on the male JST-XH (the one with the pins in it) it has two slots in it that the raised, arrow shaped locking/keying protrusions on the female slide into. The friction between the two slots and the raised arrow shaped keys is what creates the friction and keeps the connectors together. Unplug the charger.
