2011年5月4日 · We usually shop at Food Lion, but last year went to Harris Teeter. We were shocked at the checkout with the final total (with coupons). We went there to try something different, but left spending way too much. For 6 people we spent over $500.00 in groceries for one week (breakfast and lunch being eaten at home and 2 dinners for the week).

2009年4月26日 · The closest Harris Teeter is about 45 minutes away. Due to no high end grocery store being nearby there are several things I used to buy when I lived in Charlotte that no one around here carries. Why a city of around 80,000 has no higher end grocery store I have no clue.

2017年1月24日 · Bunch of places I know of, most is 87 octane non-eth: Most of the Circle-K's , Dock of the Bay marina (end of Bob Perry rd in KH. The new Harris Teeter in NH has 90 octane. My inboard boat needs premium (93) so I get it at Quality Plus at Whalebone Junction. If you drive up Grandy way much the Duck-thru has 93 oct Non-eth.

2018年6月25日 · I bought it at Calhoon's on the beach road in Nags Head beside Jeanette's Pier last summer. I have also purchased it at Harris Teeter MP 10. There you have to ask for it, as they keep it in the back of the store. I would call the local grocery stores in the area and ask.

2021年4月1日 · Honestly, you might not have much trouble in-person shopping (we go usually 2nd week in June). Just do it as soon as you come aboard the island. You have Food Lion, Harris Teeter and Walmart right in one little area. I've never run into a crowd that wasn't doable in Walmart, and haven't really seen a crowd at either of the supermarkets on any day.

Oh yes, he had a good time and has made lasting friendships there but it was a financial disaster. Housing and food from Harris Teeter (day old rotisserie chickens and pasta), consumed his weekly pay.
