2023年3月11日 · On my new Thinkpad I've noticed that when I mute the speakers, a light comes on under the F1 key. I don't like this. It's distracting and confuses my eye making me think the caps lock is on. I've looked in Windows settings, BIOS, and the Lenovo Vantage app but can't find a way to disable. Anyone know of software that can change this?

2018年8月1日 · So, the light on the mute/F1 key is permanently on, and all 3 volume keys (on F1, F2, and F3) all toggle mute on/off, instead of actually adjusting the volume. I've read maybe I need to update my audio drivers, but I was kind of confused by that.

Press and hold Function & Esc keys for 3 seconds Then press F1, F3, F5 sequentially I had to do steps 1 and 2 twice, and this caused the keyboard to reset (lights flashed on and off several times, then the default rainbow colour scheme came on).

2023年5月4日 · F1 does not toggle turbomode. F1 and turbo mode are different inputs on the same key. One of them is entered when you press just the key. The other is entered when you hold fn while pressing the key. There’s a toggle in BIOS for which input you get when you press just that key, and which input is that key + fn.

2021年8月18日 · When I start up a game, the f1 key lights up. The only thing I could find online was that this was performance mode, but nothing about what it actually does. The only thing I notice is the fans are much louder when this is on. Does anyone know what this does. Also, I have been having frequent frame drops when playing, and I mean pretty bad.
