2023年3月7日 · Easy in EDF is braindead easy and always has been. And that is fine - sometimes it is just plain fun to be that powerful). EDF 6 is a sequel to EDF 5, basically. A direct sequel to that game. It starts where EDF 5 left off - the world has been saved but at the cost of 95% of all life on the planet.

But, if you're not sure, then start with 5, because 6 is something akin to 5 with further enhancements and modifications, making the game even more lovely, but slightly more complicating, as well. The technicals aren't a big deal, cuz it's just EDF after all. For me, 6 was/is worth every penny.

EDF had six mainstay games, two "USA didn't quite get the memo on what makes things so good, but at least they tried" and two LEGO defense force games with ethnical super heroes. And even then, with the whole "EDF 6 is just 5 but prettier and with a little extra sauce", time travel plot was a really good excuse to justify the asset flipping.

2023年6月28日 · wasnt aware of a season pass, now i gotta look for the prices afaik, the only point of reference on discount is world bros season pass that includes mission pack that gives a 50% discount over buying everything individually, and maybe the 20% off Iron Rain bundle that doesnt come with the mission pack.

Edf 2025 was 90 and 4.1 is about the same amount but has 40 ish missions for dlc then 5 is 110/111). ...

2020年6月23日 · EDF 5 was released about 1.5 years later on pc, so that would be 2022/2023. Lucky for me, I'm only at 45% right now for EDF5 and our 4th buddy finally bought it, so we still have a lot of hours to play until then.

2023年5月6日 · Edf 5 did sell well too breaking half a million copies before edf 6 was announced and nearly doubled after the live gameplays of edf 6 came out. Also, unlike most edf with dlc content, edf 6 already has one dlc out so they're probably trying to finish polishing the game and dlc before porting it to global release.

2022年9月2日 · Ranger getting grenades in addition to his two weapons is super nice, let’s you stay offensive. In mission subtitles are nice, even if I can’t understand them. 4K visuals of course are nice, and I get very little frame rate issues unless I blow up a ship right in my face.

2022年9月5日 · It's pretty impressive to me on PS5. The improved level architecture really adds something to the game. However, nobody buys EDF games for their technical fidelity. Even the PC versions are more about the experience than the graphics. I'm out of town at present, but I'll update with translations for the additional graphics modes when I get home.
