Tarptent Notch Li Review (Updated: V2 2020 Version)
2020年4月18日 · With an inner tent width at its maximum of 34 inches (at the mid-point of the inner tent) and at its minimum of 20 inches (at the ends of the inner tent), the claim that a wide (e.g., 25 inch) sleeping pad will “fit” is a little dubious. That said, it works well enough, even though it all gets a little bit scrunched up at the ends.
Anyone used a Dyneema tent in winter? - Backpacking Light
2019年12月21日 · I would be most concerned with any single wall shelter whether dyneema or not used in our Appalachian mountains in the winter due to excessive condensation. Usually a double wall tent has a solid fabric inner tent canopy directing dripping inside fly water to fall to the ground off the canopy.

2020年4月25日 · The Tarptent Double Rainbow Li is a 2-person, side-entry, 2-door (and 2-vestibule) hybrid single/double-wall tent made with Dyneema Composite Fabrics that weighs 27 oz (765 g). Tarptent announced the Double Rainbow Li on April 23 and will make it available for sale beginning April 27.
By the Numbers: How does Tent Design and Materials Influence …
2024年8月12日 · A cold-weather tent that minimizes weight and provides the best thermal comfort will be a single-wall tent constructed from the lightest fabric consistent with expected snow and wind loading demands. I have chosen Dyneema for my cold-weather tent. Since this tent is for cold weather, screens, interior netting, or interior structures are ...
Dyneema tent fabric seam sealing?? - Backpacking Light
2022年3月27日 · Thanks Philip, that’s what I needed to know for a Dyneema tent I’ve got my eye on. I’m “lusting after” a TT AEON Li for a Colorado Trail hike. On that trail and those frequently high altitudes I feel even my beloved TT Moment DW is a tad too heavy. If I get it I’ll pick up some Aquaseal. I may even get a buzz cut to lose hair weight ...
Dyneema Tent Fabric Distorting; Normal? - Backpacking Light
2022年9月28日 · The tent hasn’t been used that much, and pretty delicately aside from a good hand washing in the tub. Is there such a thing as over-tightening the guy lines for a tight pitch, causing the distortion on the front door panel bottom? Is Dyneema that sensitive to pressure against it that it distorts its shape?
MYOG - Another Dyneema Pyramid Tent - Backpacking Light
2018年8月22日 · Looking for an ultralight shelter I decided to go with a single trekking pole supported pyramid style tent. I’m about a 7.5/10 on the happiness scale on how it turned out. Definitely learned A LOT during this project. It’s constructed from 0.51 oz dyneema, fully taped with the only sewing being one row up along either side of the zipper.
YER EXPERIENCE WITH DYNEEMA TENT FLOORS? - Backpacking …
2020年10月15日 · And next time get a tent with a silnylon 6.6 floor, around 1.3 oz/sq/yd, and twice as water resistant as most silnylons used by tent companies. More important, its elasticity makes it more resistant to abrasion; so there are far less surprises.
Big Agnes Fly Creek HV 1 Carbon Review (Tent)
2019年10月19日 · And as a double wall tent it was much warmer than my single wall Zpacks Hexamid solo; and handled condensation really well. so I understand BA staying with this design for the carbon tent. Others disagree, obviously. BUT: tension on the front door caused multiple zipper failures. BA needs to equip this tent with a larger, more robust zipper ...
