The Department of Defense last week issued a new DOD Instruction 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT). The newly updated instruction: Establishes the RMF for DoD IT, establishing associated cybersecurity policy, and assigning responsibilities for executing and maintaining the RMF.
