Dapol was founded in 1983 by David and Pauline Boyle who spotted an opportunity for a fresh new company to operate in the mainstream OO Model Railway market. As well as manufacturing from their Winsford site, models were produced in Hong Kong and the Far East.

2024年9月4日 · O Gauge Class 66 Update What's been happening? As you may be aware from our last update (02/2023) Dapol's new design team members had taken over this project and set to work making corrections. They and Dapol as a whole has expended a huge amount of time and resources to make this model as good as it possibly can be.

2025年3月10日 · Dapol will be offering two tender types to go with the 28xx/2884 locomotives. a smooth sided tender with a longitudinally orientated vacuum reservoir and a riveted tender where the vacuum reservoir is orientated in a transvers position across the underside of the tender.
