In case of ^ (0x5e) this results in 0x01e. Ctrl+d, Ctrl+d terminates the input. (I don't know why I had to type it twice though).

The final position is then Ctrl Z X C, with V to the right of my index finger. Using Ctrl as a pivot point, if I open my hand the T key can be reached without much strain. I think the strain you mention may be caused by trying to reach for Ctrl without moving your hand.

2019年12月6日 · Currently in a game I'm playing I'd like to crouch with Ctrl and go to the menu with Esc. I however can't, since this opens the Start Menu and takes me out of the game. I'd like to disable the shortcut in Windows but still be able to hit Ctrl+Esc in a game. Because of this I can't simply block Ctrl+Esc with a hotkey remapper.
