It became Citicorp Railmark Inc as CREX 9023 and sold as Canadian National 2000 in April 2013. 9024, Class C40-8, was built in June 1989, #46086, as C&NW 8502. It became UP 9024, Class C40-8, on August 29, 2000, and retired on January 4, 2008.

CN 2000-2041 are the ex-CNW C40-8 8501-8542 that UP operated as 9023-9064 and returned to lessor. They were leased to CSX as CREX 9023-9064 before CN acquired them in fall 2012. 2000

When Union Pacific acquired the Chicago & North Western Railroad, they got numbered UP 9023-9064, but not in sequence. When retired by UP during 2008 and 2009, they were sold to Citicorp Railmark and retained their UP livery and road number, with CREX on the cab sides.

On January 11th George Redmond clicked ex-CREX 2023, and three Armor yellow siblings near the CN engine facility in Centralia, IL. A few days later George bagged ex-CREX 9023 horribly patched “CN 2000” on January 16th by the coal chute near the CN Centralia Shop.

It became Union Pacific 9023, Class C40-8, on April 11, 2000, and retired on January 4, 2008. It became Citicorp Railmark Inc as CREX 9023 and sold as Canadian National 2000 in April 2013. 8502 was built in June 1989, #46086.
