Cox Contour and FireStick | Cox Community - Cox Support Forums
My Amazon Firestick has been installed for some time. Just switched to Cox and added contour, which is also installed and working. I had used YoutubeTV with the previous ISP and I have many premium channels on Firestick. I want to combine Contour with Firestick and run it all under one remote - don't care whether it's Contour or Firestick.

The last few days the contour app will not play channels 53,54,55,56 or 57. I'm in Fairfax County Va. I've tried on my laptop, tablet and brand new Android cell phone. I've even uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. I've rebooted the modem and router several times.

Just bought a Fire Tablet 10" 2017, downloaded the Cox Contour APP and it plays but sometimes freezes up(as often as every 5-10 minutes) and have to touch the screen to connect again, what is up with that? My android phone does not do that. Ok it ran fine for 4 days and then started buffering like crazy again,sometimes ever 5 minutes.

The Contour app only works on specific operating systems: Apple, Android, Apple and Windows. Streaming devices and TV sets do have an operating system but Contour doesn't support 'em.

If this is what you are attempting, the TV will display the 5 digit code when Paramount+ and Cox are able to connect through your wifi/cable box
