I had painted my 65 Vette a brighter yellow than this many years back but it was so bright that it was blinding so I repainted it red. edit: I just placed this car in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

2018年2月1日 · The car was painted in '73. That color may very well have been available but in '62 or in '73 the pant very well may have been custom mixed, either by the painter or the paint store. Not everyone buys their suit off the rack. Find a good pic of the car and take it to the paint store, let them scan it with their paint dealy and mix it.

2014年7月12日 · Nice Car The paint store did me a favor by painting 3 paint cards, all Roman Red using 3 diffrent brands of paint. The windsheild wiper grill is removable, so while it was off we the buffed lip that is protected from sunlight under the hood to compair the paint cards to get a match. 2005年10月29日 · A car like that painted back then would probably get the mentioned truck, or a Caterpiller tractor color or a "yellow cab" taxi yellow. It was too "hotrod" to get a custom blend color. In reality, it probably was a late 60's muscle car or Vette type yellow. Don't look at screen caps for a color because the lighting is too varying.

2009年4月12日 · See the attached pic of my car next to another '63 which used another white color(OK, very poor pic and the off-white aspects are lost in the direct sunlight). And, without going O/T the last white I'll ID is the Pace Car White used for the '64-1/2 Mustang, but I didn't have Ford's M-# in my list (after all, who on this list cares about Mustangs ).

2007年2月17日 · I am repainting the '39 back to yellow and my gf suggested a flame paint job. What a gal how did I get so lucky? Does anyone have any pics of flames on a yellow car or any ideas about what colors would look good with the yellow? I have done a search here and found a few but I would like to see more. I have hopefully added pics.

2017年7月19日 · And my car lived in hot, humid, cold and wet Midwest all of its life. Always garaged. Once the paint part was started I SANDED all of the epoxy primer. I was taught old school and a paint job needs a 360 wet sanding for the paint to adhere well. The PPG paint I used had the same recommendation, not scuffed with a scotch bright pad.
