2015年3月24日 · Naw, you do not have to worry about building a 199 into something that would HAVE to turn 7000 rpm. Too many people are under the false impression that some how a 258 cu in AMC I-6 engine has gobs of torque. It don't. Essentially due to the weeny little carburetor and the purely gutless cam it has it has almost no torque in the first place.

2014年3月31日 · Based on a 1980 TSM which shows the beginning of what I think is the last cycle, your engine is a 258 built on September 22, 1988. That's somewhat of a guess.
