My go to rabbit guns are a Beretta 302 or 303 12 gauge with a barrel cut to 25 inches-straight cylinder. I generally shoot 1 1/8 6's at 1255fps or 1 1/4 5's or 6's 1220fps, and a Benelli 20 gauge M2 ic choke with one ounce of 6's.

2010年11月30日 · The book says a 69 drill should drill a .031 but with todays standars you better check the dim. before you drill. Out shot came out a ver constant side between .o95 and .100. Good enough for us. Also it produced about 100 lbs. in 2 hrs compared to the old way of about 50 lbs. Our shot was much more constant. We use antifreeze.

2025年1月18日 · I can’t get 7/8 ounce of shot in the hull.. 3/4 ounce yes, 13/16 ounce almost.. question is, how much space between top of shot column / overshot card, and the crimp should a load have.. On factory shells, I look at shot column with flashlight for top of shot and shake factory shot shells and hear shot rattling around.

2008年10月4日 · If you use 1-1/8 ounces of number 8 lead shot for your trap loads, and you want similar performance, you'd use 1-1/8 ounces of number 6 steel shot. Alternatively, you'd bump the speed up a bunch. Some of the guys who regularly post here shoot at Naperville IL gun club, which now has a mandatory steel shot rule. Can't use lead.
