Jeff Torborg, a former MLB catcher and manager, has died, the Chicago White Sox announced on Sunday. The 83-year-old played 10 seasons in the majors and managed 11 more.

Guillen spent 13 years with the White Sox and was a key part of their 1990 team under Torborg. He had also managed the team successfully to their historic World Series triumph in 2005.
