A new restaurant and lounge is set to open in downtown Taunton in early spring on the former site of National Charter 957.

Fusion Kitchen, a Taunton restaurant, had its liquor license suspended for four days and had its hours restricted. Police were at the restaurant investigating an alleged assault on Sunday, February 9.

The Taunton License Commission voted to temporarily suspend Fusion Kitchen’s liquor license for four days. This followed an incident at the restaurant where police officers were allegedly assaulted.
