A PTFE pipe caused frequent filament jams. Multiple prints led to consistent printer jams in the same part of the process.

If you do, part of the tape will cover the opening of the pipe. Since PTFE tape is so stretchy, it could cover a large part of the opening if you apply the tape too close to the end of the pipe.
