The film is a co-production with Swiss participation. German-Swiss actress Marie Leuenberger plays the lead role of conductor Julia, whose desire to have a child takes unexpected turns.

The event is jointly organised by the national promotional agency Swiss Films and Visions du Réel – the country's sole non-fiction film festival – together with Cannes Docs.
