The last few weeks have seen a number of tech sites reporting on a robot which can find and point out Waldo in those “Where’s Waldo” books. Designed and built by Redpepper, an ad agency.

Eng likened the search for these trains to finding Waldo, offering a playful distraction and a chance for laughter amid the challenges faced by the transit system.

The town’s first selectman believes Waldo is adapting well to his surroundings. “No predators, it’s finding food, it’s finding water. So, it’s fairly content,” Lindenmayer said.
