A Spanish woman visiting Thailand was killed by an elephant at an elephant care center and an elephant trainer has been charged in connection to her death, according to multiple reports.

A 22-year-old Spanish woman, Blanca Ojanguren García, was fatally injured by an elephant while participating in a bathing activity at the Koh Yao Elephant Care Centre in southern Thailand.
