When the temperatures during Winter drop, the bald eagles come to the Shepaug Eagle Observatory, and this marks their 39th season in Southbury against the backdrop of the Housatonic River.

Bald eagles are in Connecticut after migrating through the winter. Come March, the raptors establish their territory and lay eggs.
