As hurricane season fast approaches, one power company has been working on better ways to keep the lights on during a major storm. We visited Duke Energy's newly opened control center on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, Duke Energy took ABC11 on a tour of the new nerve center for its power-outage response. The new distribution control center in Wake County is where repair crews get their assignments.
