A 2001 Japanese short anime family film based on the popular manga and anime series, Doraemon. It premiered on March 10, 2001 in Japan on a bill with Doraemon: Nobita and the Winged Braves.

Because the monkey king is only a legend, Nobita and Doraemon have decided to go back in time using the time machine and make a fake one and show Gian, Shizuka, and Suneo to prove that they are right.
