(Alliance News) - BT Group's Openreach Ltd has announced a record number of new exchange locations where the business plans to halt the sale of traditional copper-based phone and broadband services.

BT-owned Openreach announced the latest expansion, giving communication providers a one-year warning to cease offering copper wire connections ahead of the switch to an all-digital service landscape.
