MOSCOW, November 30. /TASS/. Aeroflot plans to receive first eight Airbus A350 passenger jets in 2020 and seven more in 2021, the Russian flag carrier says in its presentation for investors.

TASS/. The Aeroflot Group expects the delivery of 55 aircraft this year, according to the corporate presentation for analysts. Among them are eleven wide-body Airbus A350 jets and 22 SSJ 100 jets ...

Initially, the carrier wanted all 40 of those planes to be the A350-1000 variants. However, it agreed to get six -900 variants that were meant for Russia’s Aeroflot and were available immediately.

Air India refreshed its brand image, adding new aircraft, like the A350, to its fleet in 2023. Air India acquired A350s intended for Aeroflot, customizing them to fit their brand image.
