Hi, Lookout Mountain is part of the Appalachian mountain range. Lookout Mountain Flight Park averages around 1,850 ft (564 m) so yes there is ridge flying possible as long as the wind is blowing in. There is also Henson Gap at Dunlap Tn at Tennessee Tree Toppers as another choice at 1800 to 2000ft. Come fly!
