The Highland Drove dates back to the mid-1700s and today it offers charming and contemporary bedrooms, a varied and seasonal menu based on local produce and an excellent location for exploring the Eden Valley and Lake District. The inn is within the Cumbrian village of Great Salkeld which is only a few miles from the market town of Penrith.Open for food and drink 7 days week, The Drove is run by Tom and Claire Lefevre who took over in 2022. The pub is an important part of the community and prides itself in offering a warm welcome to everyone from locals to visitors passing through.
