Recreation Park is a local community park with a Carousel, Tennis courts, Playground for children and a Bandstand. If you want to visit a Park with animals try going to Ross Park in Binghamton NY or Adventure Park in Harpursville NY.
The carousels are only open until Labor Day unless they have a special event. Last year (2015) The Recreation Park Carousel had a winter event for a few weekends around Christmas time.
