Beginning as an assistant for a fashion photographer some 20 years ago, I soon learned the ropes and began shooting fashion and talent head shots on my own. Always wanting to learn more, I went back to college (after receiving a degree in radiology) to get my BA in photographic art. While working on my photography degree, I had the terrific opportunity of studying photography abroad for a semester in Europe. Afterwards, I participated in numerous art shows selling photographs of my travels. In 2005 I created Urban Photography and have been photographing amazing Dallas urbanites for 11 years now. My fashion experience mixed with photo journalistic art training is what I believe makes my style unique. I enjoy spending time with my daughter, eating cheese and collecting garden gnomes (jk.. kind of.. ok I have ONE). I am a proud member of the following photography organizations...
